Dr. Bentley has pursued her love of medicine and the human-animal bond at Ann Arbor Animal Hospital since July of 2012. She graduated from MSU in 2011 and then completed an additional year of advanced training with a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at two large Chicago-area specialty hospitals. Dr. Bentley truly enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine but has particular interest in trauma patients and toxicology. In her two years at AAAH she has found that the group medicine mentality, one doctor assisting and helping another, is refreshing and she appreciates the care and skill each technician brings to their job.
At home Dr. Bentley and her husband have an English Setter, Mae, and two orange Tabby cats, Otis and Frank. She emphasizes to owners that it is important to have preventive care and wellness visits: “Sometimes if you pick up on things early enough, they are fixable or at least treatable.”
