Dog Class for adult dogs

Julia’s All Dogs class is open to adult dogs of any age or size. In this 4-session course, Julia Levitt—Ann Arbor Animal Hospital’s partner for dog training—takes on teaching your dog proper behavior to have in the home.

Does your dog display any of the following bad habits?

  • • Jumping
  • • Counter surfing
  • • Aggression toward visitors
  • • Does your four-legged friend put off your two-legged friends?

First Session: Introduction and “Taking your dog for a walk: not all walks are created equal!”

Second Session: Teaching your dog boundaries, how to curb your dog’s enthusiasm for jumping on guests, and how to deal with “counter surfing.”

Third Session: Review/recap of first two sessions; specific/general questions; dealing with problems. Learn how to properly introduce your dog when you’re on a walk.

Fourth Session: Meet at a mystery location with a fun surprise!

What to bring:

  • • Proof of immunization is required. Bring a leash (no retractable leashes) and smooth or rolled buckle collar
  • • Treats for the dog (please do not feed the dog for 2 hours before class)
