After graduating from Michigan State University with her DVM in 2010, Dr. Dosenberry completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, Connecticut. Her areas of interest include dentistry, ultrasound and emergency surgery.
She came to Ann Arbor Animal Hospital in 2018 because, she says, “I wanted to practice a high quality of medicine in a collaborative environment. I love emergency medicine and primary care, and AAAH offered me a place to practice both and offer the gold standard of care to all my clients and patients.”
When asked about what advice she likes to give her clients, she says, “Trust your intuition and be an advocate for your pet; you know them better than anyone else. Animals are very good at hiding illness and the most subtle changes may be significant, even if we can’t pick them up on a physical exam.”
Dr. Dosenberry lives in Chelsea with her husband, Alan, and their three children, Carter, Avery and Alice. In her time away from work, she enjoys yoga, photography, and spending time with her family.
