As mentioned in our last post, the sun finally shone and the rain stayed away to give us a most beautiful and pleasantly warm day at the corn maze. The 2015 Zombie Charity Event raised money for Stiggy’s Dogs and our Fixed Income Family Fund and we are excited to report that we brought in more than $3500 through donations and ticket sales!

This year, we were privileged to start off with a USMC honor guard arranged by Stiggy’s Dogs, and the singing of the national anthem.

Attendees (both human and canine) arrived in zombie costumes and enjoyed the dog park and agility course, the petting zoo, the zombie cutout photo op, the silent auction, getting their pictures taken by a professional photographer (thanks Michelle!) and of course, the corn maze.

We want to thank everyone who attended the event, all of our volunteers, the honor guard and the singers, and everyone who donated items or money to support Stiggy’s Dogs and the FIFF—please see the event page for the list of donors. A very big THANK YOU for making our 2015 Zombie Charity Event a success!
