Coleman’s Farm Corn Maze and the Ann Arbor Animal Hospital are hosting a charity event benefiting P.O.E.T. Animal Rescue and the AAAH Fixed Family Income Fund (FIFF).

This is an annual Event taking place this year on Sunday, October 5th from 12-4 in the afternoon.

Costumes (both human and animal) are encouraged! Coleman’s “Corn-Dog- Maze” is a Halloween-themed maze featuring six stations with doggie treasure. There will also be hayrides, a haystack climb, and a dog park on-site.

In addition to Coleman’s Farm’s huge corn maze there will be many activities and games: Best Costume (people and pets), Dog Obstacle Course, Owner / Pet Look-a-like, Pet Pix (professional photographer), Face Painting, Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle, hayrides, petting zoo and more!

Entrance fees are $20 for individuals and $35 for families and can be purchased at the animal hospital or at the event. Tickets will be sold ($1.00 each) to use when entering contests, games &  buying food (like apple cider and freshly-made doughnuts). Online donations can be made through the AAAH website’s PayPal link on the FIFF page & on the P.O.E.T. donation page.

Come and listen to a story ‘bout a pup named Ted,

Poor little dog barely kept his belly fed,

And then one day he was scroungin’ for some food,

When up from the street came a rescuin’ crew,

P.O.E.T* that is.

Hearts of Gold.

Best there be.

Well the next thing ya know Ted doesn’t have a care,

The P.O.E.T. folk said, “Pup come on outta there,”

“A forever loving home is the place you oughta be!”

So they loaded up the crate and they took him to Saline,

Michigan that is.
